Lights on Jeater Bend

The Jingle Bells are sure to rock on Jeater Bend, in Celebration, Florida, where you’ll find a dazzling display of lights on the homes that are perfectly synchronized to your favorite Christmas carols, snippets of your favorite Christmas movies playing on the big screen, and, to top in all off, the spectacular surprise of snow flurries falling from the sky.

It’s a place where both locals and tourists gather to celebrate the holiday season in the most traditional manner, while also implementing a modern twist that’s sure to appeal to people of all ages.

You can view the magical light show by parking right on Celebration Avenue and taking a stroll by foot up and down Jeater Bend, as it’s much better viewed up close and personal rather than at a distance in your vehicle.

There are lots of other fun things to do here, like meeting Santa Claus and Olaf, when they visit on December 22nd, 2018 between 7:00p.m.-9:00p.m.

You can also take a horse and carriage ride, dine at any of the restaurants that are within walking distance, or take part in their nightly entertainment that is there all year long!

The 2018 season begins on November 22rd and runs all the way up until January 1st, 2019, and is every evening from 6:00pm-9:30pm. Local news has already taken notice.

Among the amazing celebration and behind the scenes, you will find comfort in knowing that some citizens are using this event to also provide a form of community service. Realtor, Victor Nawrocki streams live from the site to give Disney Travelers all around the world a chance to experience the amazing light show from the comforts of their own homes.

He also documents the area and uses it as resource when showing potential home-buyers just exactly what it’s like to live in such a quaint, beautiful and unique town. Many have appreciated all that he’s done to try to share the experience with others, as it’s definitely something every resident should partake in, at least once in their lifetime.

This is also an over month-long charity event, that was established in 2010 by a man named Calvin Slater. Calvin uses the show as a way to help local families in need, and who are facing hardships in their lives such and need help with things such as rent assistance, utility assistance, help with car repairs and even a down-payment on permanent housing! Calvin has spread the real Christmas Miracle.

The Lights at Jeater Bend is accepting Donations for St. Vincent De Paul Ministry to benefit the homeless and needy.
